STEM Ambassador Programme

Goal

To support STEM learning – help young people to understand the real world applications of their learning

Eligibility Criteria

Aged 18years and above at various stages in their careers Both Women and Men
Willing to make a difference and impact in the communities.
Should have completed at lease one STEM activity in one year.

Impact

Illuminating careers – showcase different careers, providing information on roles and pathways into industry while raising awareness of the skills that are important in the workplace.
Raising aspirations – give young people the opportunity to meet a wide range of inspiring role models, encouraging them as they think about their future.

Duties

Visit High schools, TVET colleges ,Universities and youth at large for speed networking.
Deliver range of activities from career talks to workshops.
Online mentoring

Students Expo Collaboration

Goal

To partner with learning institutions to organize students projects expositions where students showcase the different projects.

Eligibility Criteria

Have accomplished significant milestones in STEM.

Duties

Act as a judge for the projects day
Provide support to teaching staff and management

Form Partnerships

Goal

Be willing to step in as a partner in achieving kiotaTech mission and vision.
Should have completed at lease one STEM activity in one year.

Impact

Host a workplace or industy visit for students
Provide placements to students internships
Tech scholarships to excellent students to persue relevant certifications on the different tech careers
